What makes ISR different from other children's swimming lessons?

ISR™ lessons are one-on-one, individually customized lessons so that each child learns specialized aquatic survival skills that help build a foundation for lifelong enjoyment of the water.

Our lessons focus on drowning prevention and aquatic safety, not simply swimming.

Teach your child to become an aquatic problem solver!

   Is Your Child Prepared?

Would your child know what to do if they found themselves in the water alone?

ISR can teach your little one to become an effective swimmer or floater in any depth of water.

Does your child have the skills they need to survive?

Layers of Protection

The most critical line of defense is adult supervision. No level of aquatic skill can replace active supervision. If your child is ever missing, look in the water first.

Effective Supervision

Install a permanent 4-sided fence with self-locking gates. Ensure that the pool fence is at least 3-5 feet from the pool edge.

#2
Pool Fences

Make sure all doors and windows leading to the pool are locked and alarmed.

Swimming Lessons

ISR’s Self-Rescue training is an added layer of protection, teaching your child water survival skills in a completely safe environment.

#5
CPR

If an emergency happens, it is essential parents and families are prepared. Learn to perform CPR on children and adults and remember to update those skills regularly.

ISR believes that layers of protection are necessary for drowning prevention. These layers include constant adult supervision, alarms on all doors and windows with access to water, barriers/fences with self-latching gates, knowledge of how to perform CPR, and high-quality survival swimming lessons.  However, traditional lines of defense break down, and the over 4,000 drowning deaths per year bear a grim testament to the fact that traditional approaches are missing a key component: the child.
